Visa and Immigration Information
All participants should consult the Canadian Citizenship and
Immigration website for visa and other travel requirements
(www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-who.asp).
Participants and accompanying persons coming from countries for which
a visa is required should complete and send the form below to
Lael Parrott via email (one form per person please). Lael will
send a letter of invitation to you by regular mail as soon as possible.
The letter of invitation does not guarantee acceptance of your
visa application. The official Canadian visa website
(www.cic.gc.ca) notes that participants and accompanying persons
visiting Canada, must:
- have a valid travel document, such as a passport;
- be in good health;
- convince an immigration officer that they have ties, such as a job, home and family, that will take them back to their country of origin;
- convince an immigration officer that they will leave Canada at the end of their visit;
- have enough money for their stay;
- have a Temporary Resident Visa, depending on citizenship.
