On a New Form of Chaos Based on Deterministic Chaos plus Added Quantum Mechanical Components: The Perspectives of Application in Cognitive Processes in Psychology
E. Conte, M. Altamura, M. de Salvia, A. Federici, A. Bellomo, J. P. ZbilutA new kind of chaos is discussed that is based on deterministic chaos plus addition of quantum mechanical components. The aim is to analyse the role explained from ontic quantum potentiality that, as it is well known, is characterized by superposition principle in quantum mechanics. As application, the case of logistic map is studied by using Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA), estimation of correlation dimension, D2 , and Hurst exponent. This study is also seen in the perspective of application in cognitive processes, and in particular in analysis of Response Times in experiments on working memory.
